Matt is on a mission to help people live in alignment with their faith values particularly in their investing and giving. That is why he started HoneyHive Capital Partners.
Toward the end of his nearly two decade career in nonprofits, Matt found his passion for investing. He saw it as an opportunity to help shape the world both now and for future generations.
Matt's nonprofit experience in fundraising, disaster recovery, government relations, communications, and especially youth ministry all provided a unique and powerful skillset for investment banking.
Through his career, Matt has raised and deployed tens of millions of dollars and helped thousands of people improve their lives.
Matt is currently a general partner and CIO for an agriculture private equity fund. He also engages his community on multiple nonprofit board and advisory boards.
Matt earned his BA from Baylor University, an MBA from Louisiana State University-Shreveport and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, & 65 licenses.
